Manners that Matter – Saying Thank You

 It may seem basic, but a simple thank you speaks volumes. Saying thank you is the most important manner. When a child says thank you it shows that they recognize someone’s doings for them or that they have something to be appreciative of. The best way to instill the thank you habit is through practice. Whether you’re serving you kids dinner or carrying their backpack from their car remind them to say, “thank you”. Also, be sure to always tell your kids “thank you” when you should.  The more they say and hear it, the quicker they will recognize when to say it on their own. Continue reading
